I’m sitting in the brand new Indianapolis International Airport. Today is the first day for the new terminal. It is beautiful and checking in and going through security was a breeze. I had some anxiety last night about it being a disaster today, but am relieved to know that I worried for nothing. Human nature tends to make us a little apprehensive to change — even when we know it will be better. We still have library media programs who for whatever reason haven’t changed as the time has past. How do we help those LMS get over the anxiety or administrator roadblocks to make the change to a better library media program? A question to ponder on a Wednesday morning.
