The Last Lecture

July 27th, 2008 by Carl Harvey

Yesterday I read the reports that Randy Pausch the famed professor who delivered the Last Lecture at Carnegie Mellon had passed away. I’ve had the book The Last Lecture in my to be read pile for a month or so, but reading the reports yesterday online, I took the time to move it to the top and start the book. It was such an inspiration journey talking about achieving your childhood dreams. It expands on the 1 hour lecture and gives more detail and background. I read the entire book in one sitting and was constantly amazed at his insight and analyze. His lecture and book were meant more as a way for him to share his advice for living to his children years from now, but certainly it provides us all with great advice and inspiration as we think about our own life’s journey.
