Have you seen the book A Day with No Crayons by Elizabeth Rusch and illustrated by Chad Cameron? A wonderful tale about a girl who has her crayons taken away when she writes on the wall. When she believe all is lost, she quickly discovers there are lots of other places to see and experience working with colors. Filled with great word choices, amazing descriptive colors, and an incredible message, this book is a must have for school library media centers. How can we help students, teachers, library media specialists and administrators to think creatively? Reading this book might help spark their imaginations!
